Childhood is a time of rapid growth and change … well-child visits help them grow in the right direction!

Together, let’s check up on your child’s health with scheduled well-child visits – before they get sick. Our Centers, located in Wayne and Pike Counties, offer a safe environment in which to receive care. Our board-certified and board-eligible pediatricians as well as our advanced practice providers offer comprehensive pediatric care to children from birth to age 18.

Well-child Services:

Physical examination. This may include checking blood pressure level, vision, or hearing, listening to the lungs and feeling the abdomen for any abnormalities.
Depending upon the child’s age, screening tests may be ordered for anemia, lead exposure, or tuberculosis.
Immunizations
Adolescents & Teenagers: well-child visits afford the young person a chance to address any health issues, including sexual behavior, substance use and mental health concerns.
Evaluation & Treatment of Acute & Chronic Conditions

Same day appointments offered -- in most cases – if not available, referrals are made to WMCHC’s network of offices.

Payment: Most private insurances, managed care plans and CHIP are accepted. A sliding fee scale is also available for those who qualify.
