About WMH

Wayne Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, community-controlled hospital based in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. We strive to offer the highest quality in inpatient and outpatient care in more than 30 medical specialties. Wayne Memorial Hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center, a Level IV Trauma Center and offers a certified cardiac catheterization laboratory, the Heart & Vascular Center.

Our hospital has 90 acute-care beds, including 50 in private rooms, and an additional 14 beds dedicated to inpatient rehabilitation. We offer physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT) and speech therapy (ST) with skilled certified therapists.

Wayne Memorial also offers specialty outpatient physician services in cardiology/interventional cardiology, pulmonology, sleep medicine, general surgery and neurology.

Wayne Memorial Hospital is the heart of Wayne Memorial Health System, which serves 100,000 people across Wayne and Pike Counties.

Wayne Memorial Health System also includes a long-term care facility, Wayne Woodlands Manor and a fundraising arm, Wayne Memorial Health Foundation.

Our clinical affiliate, Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers, operates primary care, dental services, women’s health, pediatrics and behavioral health.
