IT WAS A GREAT DAY at Wayne Memorial Health Foundation’s 14th Harry D. Propst, MD Sporting Clays Invitational…postcard perfect weather, friendly competition, Red School House BBQ pork, chicken and all the fixens, prizes, gun raffle, and an enthusiastic bunch of folks all around. Nearly a hundred shooters took to the range on September 21st at Catskill Pheasantry in Long Eddy, NY, to raise funds supporting the mission of the Foundation. It really was a great day and Wayne Memorial’s CEO Jim Pettinato expressed gratitude to everyone involved: sponsors, Foundation board members, volunteers, participants, staff from WMH and the staff at Catskill Pheasantry. Thank you everyone for another successful event!

OUR 2023 SPORTING CLAYS EVENT:
Despite the weather, it was a great outing at the 13th Harry D. Propst, MD Sporting Clays Invitational Saturday September 23, 2023 hosted by the Catskill Pheasantry in Long Eddy, NY! The event with 119 shooters registered, after a three-year hiatus, didn’t disappoint. The teams included men, women, and youth, friends, family, and coworkers. We were in good company. Following the twenty-station course, everyone enjoyed bar-b-que chicken meals with all the fixings from the Red School House while awards and prizes were presented for individual and team performance. Winners of a gun raffle selected by random draw were also announced. Thank you so much to everyone: all the sponsors, volunteers, participants and WMHF board members. Proceeds benefit the Wayne Memorial Health Foundation and its support of the Wayne Memorial Health System.

Wayne Memorial Health Foundation’s 12th Annual Harry D. Propst, MD Sporting Clays Invitational proved – once again — to be an outstanding event! One hundred and forty-four shooters took to the range on September 21st at Catskill Pheasantry in Long Eddy, NY, not only to enjoy the beautiful scenery and compete for titles of “Top Shooter” and “First Squad” but also to raise funds to support the mission of Foundation. At the close of the tournament, Wayne Memorial’s Director of Facilities Management and Real Estate John Conte extended gratitude to all sponsors, Foundation board members, volunteers and participants for helping ensure the longevity of the annual event.
