WMH Request: If you can bring your own mask…

The hospital is asking visitors to wear a mask if they have one when they come to our facility, whether it be for a test or to visit a patient or for emergency or maternity services. The mask can be a home-made one (cloth, bandanna, etc as per the Centers for Disease Contro) and kept in a baggie when not in use. (Health/safety officials recommend laundering daily in hot water. Most can be put in a dryer but NOT in a microwave.) If and when appropriate, Wayne Memorial screeners may also offer a mask. Thank you for your cooperation! It will help us conserve our limited supply of PPE (personal protection equipment). Let’s stop the spread of COVID-19 — together!
