WMH Auxiliary Spreads Holiday Joy to Patients

(Honesdale, December 21, 2018)…A tradition which began in the 1970s continues to date as members of the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary distributed holiday plants and good tidings to nearly 200. Plants were gifted to hospital patients in Honesdale as well as residents of Wayne Woodlands Manor, Wayne Memorial’s long-term care home in Waymart. Arnold “Dutch” Holland, 86, a patient at Wayne Memorial-Good Shepherd Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, is shown with Auxilian Dottie Wilcox. Holland looks forward to enjoying his plant at home when he’s discharged just in time for Christmas with his family.
