WMCHC Bike Raffle Winners

Honesdale, PA, (August 23, 2022) — Congratulations to the winners of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) Bicycle Raffle held during National Health Center Week, August 7 – 13th.  Entries to win one of four Diamondback kids’ bikes were collected from across all WMCHC offices. The contest was open to everyone in celebration of Children’s Health Day — nationally recognized by health centers on August 13th. Winners, chosen by random draw, are shown with WMCHC officials, front row, left to right, Michelle Brown with daughter Allie Brown, 3, of Damascus; Colt Zaffino, 5, of Lake Ariel and Henry Barna, 7, of Waymart. Absent from photo was the fourth winner Gianna Hamlinton, 10, of Honesdale. More than 8 million children in the U.S. get their primary health care from a community health center. WMCHC provides services to children at its pediatric centers in Honesdale, Waymart, Sterling and Lords Valley as well as many of its family health centers including those based in Carbondale, Forest City, Honesdale, Hamlin, Waymart and Lake Como.
