WMCHC MA Training Program Graduates Four

 

(Honesdale, PA, October 31, 2024) — Congratulations to Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) most recent graduates of the National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA). Kim Anderson, Gracie Guarino, Kelly Murphy and Keyley Shaye Robinson were honored at a commencement ceremony on October 30th. WMCHC partners with NIMAA by offering externships, skill labs, free tuition and employment during an eight-month training period. MAs are required to pass a certification exam and remain employed by WMCHC for 18 months to qualify. The new MAs will be filling positions within the Honesdale Family Health Center, Highland Physicians Family Health Center and Pike Family Health Center.  Anyone interested in being part of the cohort starting March, 2025 should visit www.chcandme.org or email patukkr@wmh.org.
