Pinnacle Family Health Center Welcomes New Provider

Honesdale, PA (October 11, 2024) — The Pinnacle Family Health Center, part of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC), welcomes Physician Assistant Madeline Carey, PA-C, as the newest primary care provider at its Tafton practice. She joins Michael Peterson, DO, and Stephanie Roumiantseva, FNP-C, in the treatment of acute and chronic conditions for adult patients.

Carey says working for a medical practice in Pike County is rewarding, explaining she herself was raised, educated and continues to live in bordering Wayne County, “This is my community and the patient population I’ve always wanted to serve,” she said. “I look forward to the future.”

Carey earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies, graduating with Highest Honors from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL.  She received a Bachelor of Science in General Biology from Pennsylvania State University, Eberly College of Science. For the past two years she held the position of Family Medicine Physician Assistant with the Physician’s Health Alliance in Scranton, PA.
