National Ag Day Baby

(Honesdale, Pa., March 22, 2023)…Little Annabelle Thumann was born at Wayne Memorial Hospital on National Agriculture Day, March 21st. “What a nice surprise,” her parents Natalie Gawron and Ryan Thuman of Tyler Hill said when they found out. The family was presented with a basket full of local farm products and goodies by Bonnie Latourette, representing the Wayne/Pike Farm Bureau. National Ag Day is a time dedicated to farmers, their families and all the agricultural workers that provide us with a safe and abundant food supply. The gifts included locally produced maple syrup, honey, cheese, lettuce, eggs, and more plus a Barn at Night children’s book.
