Mark Murnin, DO, Transitioning Practice to WMCHC February 1st

Honesdale, PA (January 31, 2025) — Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) is pleased to announce that Mark Murnin, DO, Hamlin-based internal medicine physician of over 30 years, has joined its staff.  Effective February 1, 2025, the practice, located at 358 Hamlin Highway, Lake Ariel, PA will be renamed the Lake Ariel Family Health Center. With the addition of this office, WMCHC is now operating 20 sites total, 10 of which offer primary care.

“Dr. Murnin has devoted decades of his medical expertise to treating those residing in the Hamlin area,” stated Teresa Lacey, RN, BSN, Chief Executive Officer, WMCHC. “We are glad he has decided to continue that tradition as a WMCHC physician.”

With goals of shortening wait times to be seen and to open the practice to new patients, Lacey announced a second provider, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Sabrina Shander, will also be joining Dr. Murnin at the new health center.

“Access to care continues to be one of WMCHC’s priorities,” stated Lacey. “Bringing on qualified providers and availability of another physical location in Hamlin allows us to increase our footprint and ultimately meet community needs.”
