Lauren LaFlair Named Community Health Centers’ Employee of the Year

Honesdale, PA (January 23, 2023) – Lauren LaFlair, MA, office supervisor at the Carbondale Family Health Center, was named Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers’ (WMCHC) 2022 Employee of the Year. Recipients are selected by WMCHC’s Leadership Team based on nominations submitted by managers across the health centers and support departments. The honor was announced at the organization’s annual awards dinner held January 21, 2023. Attributes LaFlair was cited for included powering through significant facility challenges to maintain daily operations, going above and beyond to meet patients’ personal needs, and assisting clinical and clerical staff to ensure workflow not only within the Carbondale office but also neighboring CHC sites struggling with staffing issues.
