Holiday Love Lites Honor and Remember
(Honesdale, November 7, 2023)… The seasonal tree-lighting tradition at Wayne Memorial Hospital to honor and remember loved ones during the holiday season is coming up. The hospital Auxiliary’s annual Love Lites program, a fundraising event since 1991, will take place Monday, December 4th, at 6:00pm. The ceremony will include holiday music, a blessing and refreshments. Afterwards, a “Memory Book” will be displayed in the hospital lobby and on the hospital website listing all the names of those honored or remembered. To participate, download a coupon from www.wmh.org, fill it out and send in $5 for each name “in honor of” or “in memory of” and send to the address on the coupon. “It’s a heartwarming event,” said Joyce Malicky, Love Lites committee, “and a continuous symbol of love through the holiday season.”
The deadline to submit names is December 1st.
