Hamlin Walk-In Hours Change

(Honesdale, March 29, 2023) … Starting Monday, April 3, 2023, Walk-In Services at the Hamlin Family Health Center will close at 6:30pm instead of 7:30pm.

The Hamlin Family Health Center, part of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC), is located at 543 Easton Turnpike/Route 191 in Hamlin. Walk-in hours as of this coming Monday will be Mon-Tues-Wed-Friday from 7:30am to 6:30pm and Thursdays 8:30am – 6:30pm, as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 8am – 3pm.

Laboratory hours (blood draws, etc.) at the Hamlin Family Health Center will remain the same, Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3pm. The lab is closed for lunch from 1pm – 1:30pm.

Radiology services at the Hamlin office are expected to follow the Walk-In hours, but patients are advised to call ahead to (570) 689-4670 if they wish to be seen past 6:30pm. Radiology is available Monday – Friday, beginning at 7:30am and Saturdays and Sundays 9am – 3pm.

Hamlin Walk-In providers see patients age two to adult for colds, flu, sprains, strains, minor burns and cuts, eye injuries, rashes and allergic reactions. The phone number is 570-689-9965.

The schedule change for the Walk-in clinic was prompted primarily by staffing issues. WMCHC regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the community for its understanding and cooperation.
