Dr. Neda Tuttle-Danniel Coming to Highland Physicians in August

Honesdale, PA (July 16, 2024) — Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) is proud to announce that board-certified Family Physician Neda Danniel, MD, has joined its staff. Effective this August, Dr. Danniel will treat patients of all ages at the Highland Physicians Family Health Center in Honesdale.

By practicing at WMCHC –a Federally Qualified Health Center and Patient Center Medical Home recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance– Dr. Danniel will embrace her passion for coordinated person-focused care as well as rural medicine for which she was trained.

“I truly believe patient non-compliance is often a reflection of limited resources or possibly full comprehension of the recommendation for care. By building relationships, I can understand the barriers my patients face and then work to achieve the best overall outcomes.”

Dr. Danniel completed a family medicine residency at Allegheny Health Network in Erie, PA after earning her medical degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences, School of Medicine. She also holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Davenport University, Grand Rapids, MI and is a graduate of Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA. She was raised in Susquehanna County with close ties to Wayne County where she spent time visiting relatives on the paternal side of her family. Dr. Danniel was most recently employed by Physician Health Alliance as a Family Physician providing care within the mid-valley region.

Both new patients and those transferring care from another facility may call Highland Physicians Family Health Center at 570-251-6500 to request an appointment. Dr. Danniel’s schedule will open beginning August 12th.  Most private insurance, managed care plans, Medicare and medical assistance are accepted. A sliding-fee scale is also offered for those who qualify.

WMCHC is a federally qualified health center clinically affiliated with Wayne Memorial Health System, Inc.  For more information about WMCHC and all of its services, visit www.wmchc.net or call 570-253-8390.
