Carley Neinas, PA-C Newest Provider at Lake Region Urgent Care

Honesdale, PA (November 18, 2021)— After spending two years as an Urgent Care Physician Assistant in Middletown, New York, Honesdale resident Carley Neinas, PA-C, says she’s “thankful for a five minute drive” to work. Neinas became the newest provider at Lake Region Urgent Care (LRUC) located at 273 Grandview Avenue in Honesdale early this month.

As an experienced provider, Neinas evaluates and treats patients ranging in age from 6 months to adult for non-life threatening conditions. Having always been drawn to the “pace and variety of patients” within the urgent care setting, the opportunity to be closer to home came with more than one plus. “It’s nice to be in my own town,” Neinas stated. “I’m treating people of the same mindset and understand their concerns.”

Neinas graduated from Damascus Christian Academy then traveled to the Pensacola Christian College in Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-medical studies. She subsequently returned to northeast PA to pursue a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in Scranton. She was most recently employed by Garnet Health Doctors in Middletown, NY.

LRUC Medical Director Richard Hacker, MD, looks forward to having Neinas as a member of the health center’s team, “Carley is a very bright, energetic and enthusiastic provider whom we are thrilled to have joining us at Lake Region Urgent Care.”
