Auxiliary Designer Purse Bingo Fundraiser

(Honesdale, October 10, 2022)… Everyone wants a great purse, don’t they? The Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is banking on that for its fourth annual Designer Purse Bingo event on Sunday, November 6th at 1pm at Camp Ladore PARC Pavilion in Waymart. Ticketholders will get a chance to play 20 games of Bingo and possibly win a classy designer pocketbook from Coach, Kate Spade or Michael Kors—to name a few designers.

“This is a really fun event,” said Committee Chair Janice Pettinato, “and our past success bears that out. A lot of people come back even if they didn’t win anything the year before. It’s just a blast!”

Snacks and drinks will also be available for sale, along with a 50/50 raffle and “specials” featuring designer items valued higher than the individual purses.

Proceeds will benefit the Auxiliary’s Second Century Fund pledge to the hospital of $600,000. The Fund, launched in 2019, raises monies for professional recruitment and advanced equipment and technology.
