Urogynecology

Urogynecology deals with the diagnosis and management of disorders of the muscular pelvic floor in women. Treatment may involve surgical or nonsurgical management of conditions such as bladder and prolapse related symptoms. This practice is a Wayne Memorial Hospital outpatient clinic and treats female patients, age 14 and up.

Barbara Plucknett, MD, FACOG

• Board-certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology
• Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Member, American Urogynecologic Society
• Graduate, Penn State University College of Medicine
• Obstetrics-Gynecology residency, Medical Center of Delaware
• Fellowships in Urogynecology, Greater Baltimore Medical Center and the University of Maryland Medical System

Amanda Kubilus, CRNP

Amanda is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who earned her bachelors degree in nursing from Marywood University and a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Scranton. Amanda is very skilled in her work. She has a keen sense of how to integrate traditional medicine with her passion for holistic care and how that applies to each person as an individual.

Ashley Ruane, CRNP

Ashley earned her nursing degree from Wilkes University. She also received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Temple University. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Ashley provides patients with a professional yet compassionate environment that allows them to feel comfortable communicating their issues or experiences. She offers various services ranging from annual checkups, assisting with menopausal symptoms, to urinary issues.
