COVID-19 Testing

Wayne Memorial Hospital is a provider of diagnostic testing for the COVID-19 virus. The test is covered by most private insurance and government plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Wayne Memorial charges the government (COVID-CDC)  and insurance plans (COVID Non-CDC) the same: $350.00 

Privately insured patients must still abide by their insurer’s rules regarding in-network and out-of-network providers.  Wayne Memorial Hospital must be an in-network provider for your insurance company so that it may be billed appropriately.

Please note that insurance companies negotiate rates with hospitals and do not usually pay the entire charge, but a percentage of that charge.
