WMH Welcomes New Internal Medicine Providers

   

(Honesdale, PA January 14, 2025) … Karen Paczkowski, MD, and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Melissa Colarossi, CRNP, have joined the team of providers at Wayne Memorial Hospital (WMH) to offer Internal Medicine services. The practice is located at 507 High Street in Honesdale adjacent to the main hospital building.

Dr. Paczkowski is board certified and has advanced training and experience in cardiology and internal medicine. In addition to her position as Medical Director of Cardiology at Lewiston and Moses Taylor Hospitals, she served as a hospitalist and clinical instructor for over a decade at several medical facilities in Central and Northeast Pennsylvania. Prior to joining WMH, Dr. Paczkowski was in a similar role with the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Scranton.

Melissa Colarossi is a dedicated nurse practitioner with experience in Internal Medicine and excels in providing primary care services. She has worked in multiple healthcare settings, from hospitals to walk-in clinics and served in various nursing roles, including oncology care and clinical nursing instruction. Colarossi is committed to patient education and effective time management allowing her to focus on quality patient care.

Wayne Memorial is pleased to welcome both of these experienced professionals to care for patients within its growing service area. The two previously worked at a Scranton medical facility and are pleased to be reunited.
