Pharmacy Week at WMH

(Honesdale, PA. October 23, 2024)… It’s National Pharmacy Week, October 20 – 26, 2024, a time to recognize the powerful impact the pharmacy department has on our patients here at Wayne Memorial Hospital (WMH). The third full week of October is a time to shine a spotlight on the essential contributions hospital and health-system pharmacists make as part of the patient care team. Our pharmacists use their knowledge and expertise on the selection, administration, and management of safe and effective medications to improve patient outcomes.

“We have a great team in the pharmacy,” says Assistant Pharmacy Manager Courtney Farrell, RPh. “We work together to provide the best patient care. Most of our patients in the hospital require something from pharmacy, so we keep very busy,” she added. “I’m proud to be a part of this team.”
