National Health Center Week August 4 – 10th in Wayne County

(Honesdale, August 1, 2024) …Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) was presented with a proclamation from the Wayne County Commissioner’s declaring August 4th – 10th as National Health Center Week. During the presentation the commissioners acknowledged WMCHC for its sustainability and growth in meeting the healthcare needs of residents across the county as well as its contribution as a significant employer within the region.

WMCHC is a federally qualified health center with 19 office sites across four counties. It is a clinical affiliate of Wayne Memorial Health System, Inc.  Services include primary care, women’s health, pediatrics, podiatry, dental and behavioral health as well as walk-in care for non-life-threatening medical needs.
