Cancelled: Hospice Memorial Service

(Honesdale, November 5, 2021)…The Wayne Memorial Hospice Department’s memorial service scheduled for this Sunday, November 7th, has been cancelled due to the closing of the church, Beach Lake Free Methodist Church in Beach Lake. The Church informed Hospice Department officials that it had to shut its doors due to a COVID outbreak and an abundance of precaution for others in the parish.  No word yet on whether the memorial service will be rescheduled there or elsewhere.  The Hospice Department tries to hold memorial services to remember hospice patients in the fall and spring.
