People Helping Each Other
Wayne Memorial sponsors a diabetes support group and also provides space and administrative help for other support groups, such as Compassionate Friends, a support group for those who have lost children. All groups meet at WMH unless otherwise noted.
Alzheimer’s Support Group – 1st Tuesday of every month from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the David Katz Conference Room. Call (601) 697-0808 for more information
Stroke Support Group – Open to individuals, families, caregivers. Meets (most) 2nd Wednesday of every month at 4:30 pm. (570) 253-8395.
The Parkinson Disease Support Group – will bring an understanding of the disease process, the medications, services and resources available. Usually meets 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6:30pm. (570) 253-8395.
