Flu Vaccine Available for WMCHC Patients
“The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends the flu shot for basically everyone over the age of 6 months old,” stated John Weisenreider, M.D., medical director of WMCHC and board-certified internal medicine physician at the Pike County Family Health Center, Lords Valley. “It‘s important that people realize even if they aren’t in a high risk group for contracting the flu, by getting vaccinated they are helping reduce the risk of spreading it to others.”
