(July 28, 2008)… The Honesdale Family Health Center, part of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC), is pleased to welcome Lawrence Wawrzyniec Stepczak, MD, to its staff. Dr. Stepczak, who worked most recently at Laurel Health System in Wellsboro, specializes in internal medicine. He made the move to Honesdale partly because of his heritage. Dr. Stepczak hails from Poland.

It is now offering digital mammography procedures, a direct response to patient requests. And, its mammography team has received a prestigious three-year accreditation from the American College of Radiology.
