Your resume will be reviewed by a Human Resources Specialist as quickly as possible! If a particular position requires specific experience and qualification, your application and resume must demonstrate these requirements in order for us to consider you for employment at Wayne Memorial Hospital. If we determine that there is a position available that matches your background and interest, you will be invited for an interview. If the position for which you have applied is not available or is expected to become available in the near future, we may consider you for other open positions that match your qualifications. If you do not receive a telephone call from our office to set up an interview, your application and resume will be kept on file for six months and will be considered for future positions.

 


Interviews

 

 A Human Resources (HR) Specialist will contact qualified candidates directly to coordinate interviews. Prior to an interview, you will be asked to complete an employment application if you have not already done so. Top candidate are selected to meet with the hiring manager on either the same day or on a later date as determined by the type of position for which you are applying. The best candidate is chosen from all of those who have interviewed and will be offered the position.

 


Pre-Employment Process

 

Once the position is offered and accepted, the candidate is scheduled to complete HR paperwork, including a background check and health/drug screen. Once the successfully completed the background check, drug/health screen, he/she is scheduled to attend the next available New Employee Orientation. The Hospital offers two daytime orientation sessions each month. Following New Employee Orientation, registered nurses, patient care technicians and those hired for other clinical roles take part in dedicated clinical orientation sessions.
